Allergy and Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics

A national nonprofit patient education organization dedicated to eliminating suffering and death due to asthma, allergies and related conditions. AANMA’s core areas of expertise are education, advocacy and community outreach.

Patients trust AANMA’s publications to be factual, medically accurate and practical. Allergy & Asthma Today magazine, The MA Report newsletter, AANMA E-mail News Updates and the Breatherville.org Web site are consumer lifelines to medical news and healthy living. AANMA offers personal answers to asthma and allergy questions (in both English and Spanish) through a toll-free help line. Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA)

Dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma and allergic diseases through education, advocacy and research.

AAFA originated Asthma and Allergy Awareness Week, observed the first week of May. The organization maintains a national network of chapters and educational support groups to provide community-based programs and raise funds for asthma care and research. food allergy and Anaphylaxis nETWORK (faan)

A world leader in food allergy dedicated to increasing public awareness about food allergy and anaphylaxis, providing education and advancing research on behalf of all those affected by food allergies.

FAAN provides educational resources to patients, their families, schools, health professionals, pharmaceutical companies, the food industry and government officials. Educational materials are reviewed for accuracy by a Medical Advisory Board, comprised of prominent leaders in food allergy science and medicine. FAAN sponsors Food Allergy Awareness Week, food allergy conferences, and the Mariel C. Furlong Awards for Making a Difference. American Latex Allergy Association

A national nonprofit organization that creates awareness of latex allergy through education and provides support to individuals who have been diagnosed with natural rubber latex allergy.

Volunteer officers and professional advisors develop educational materials and publications including The Alert quarterly newsletter, provide product information and sponsor local support groups.
