MEET OUR PHYSICIAN
Sunita Kanumury M.D. is a practicing Consulting Allergist since 1993. She is Board certified by The American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She trained in Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in New York and the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She served as a fellow in Allergy Immunology & Infectious Diseases at the University of Medicine & Dentistry in New Jersey.
In 1999 National registry has appointed Dr. Kanumury as their life member. She was recognized by Consumer Research Council of America as one of the America’s Top Physicians of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Kanumury belongs to several National Societies. She is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy & Immunology and a Member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology. She is presently the PRESIDENT of American Association of Physicians from India.She served as The Board of Trustees of American Association of Indian Physicians (AAPI) and was Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region (AAPI) She also was Past President of the Association of Allergists & Immunologists from India from 1999 to 2001. She was recognized for her services by the Asian Indian Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Kanumury has been on the Board of Utilization Management and Quality Management Committee of University Health Plans for 3 years.
Dr. Kanumury served in Latex, Drug and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Committees with the American College and the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology.
She has affiliations with Morristown Memorial Hospital, St. Barnabas Hospital, St. Clares Hospital, and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.
